KAVE Events

The KAVE Events department is equipped to handle any technical requirements you may have. Whether it is a large outdoor concert for 10,000 people, an unusual staging format that needs creating or a small intimate theatrical performance we have the equipment and expertise.
We have had a busy year including many outdoor music festivals and events across the South East. These multi day events required sound equipment, lighting, site power and crew for acts such as The Feeling, Foy Vance, The BBC Big Band and many more.

For fulfilling the sound requirements we installed our d&b Q series flown line array speaker system. This coupled with our digital sound desks, Yamaha PM5d and M7CL we were able to meet all of the varied sound requirements – supplying, at times, 8 ways of monitor mixing.

Our lighting rig consisted of a mixture of generic lighting, Martin Moving lights, 8 lite blinders and Atomic 3000W strobes. This versatile lighting rig allowed us to have subtle lighting for the relaxed afternoon performances and then by adding the strobes, hazers, blinders, LED units and Mac Heads we were able to provide a true rock and roll feel to the evening.

Lighting control was left in the capable hands of the two newest additions to the hire stock namely the Avolites Pearl Expert Desk and an Avolites Art 2000 48 Channel dimmer.

Total Performance Solutions

KAVE Theatre Services offer three complete event packages under the name of Total Performance Solutions (TPS)
These packages are planned, rigged, operated and removed from site by the KAVE event staff. They have proved to be a great starting point for customers who have approached us with an idea, but lack the technical expertise to bring it to fruition. They can be tweaked and tailored to meet the individual needs whether it is an additional 30 music stands for a classical concert or audience blinders for a rock concert!

Staging

Staging hire is an increasingly popular part of our work at KAVE Theatre Services, with the recent addition of new staging decks and accessories we can create almost any shape, size, height and depth depending on your requirements.

Our hire department are able to assist in making the most adventurous designs a reality, providing site visits and scale drawings where necessary.

Some of our customer’s recent applications for our staging include Juliet’s balcony, fashion catwalks, viewing platforms & drum risers.

Another recent use for our staging was to create a level performance space over the top of raised flower beds and pathways.

With many more events coming up over the coming months it is looking to be a very busy 2008. Due to our continual investment in equipment and staff training we will endeavour to make every event a success, and wherever possible, exceed our customer’s expectations.
